by Ashesh DasAdding account deletion

a new account deletion process for ModVoice. If you want to leave the platform, you can now securely delete your account directly from your User Settings.
We just added the ability to delete an account from the profile. Users that no longer want access to ModVoice can visit their Account Settings and initiate the deletion process.
Here's how the process works:
14-Day Grace Period
When you request to have an account deleted, we send an OTP (one time pass) to your email so that we can make sure it was actually you who is trying to delete it. Once confirmed, your account is placed in a 14-day grace period.
During the grace period, your account will be locked, which means you won't be able to send messages, join rooms, buy anything, or manage developerbots. We hope to prevent misuse during the period leading up to the actual deletion.
Cancellation
If at any point during the 14-day grace period you change your mind, simply log back into your ModVoice account and navigate to Account Settings, where you can find the “Cancel Deletion” button. Your account should be back to its full functioning state instantaneously.
Permanent Deletion
If the account is not reinstated within the 14-day grace period, an automated system will eventually permanently delete your data. Your email will be erased from the authentication service, your personal information wiped from our systems, and your previous messages in conversations will be anonymized. Your author name for existing messages will automatically turn into “Deleted User”, and your account will be automatically removed from the server member list for all servers on ModVoice.
